Support services

We understand that making an application to the Redress Board may be a difficult experience for you.

You can seek support and advice from the office of the Interim Advocate or Statutory Commissioner for Survivors of Institutional Childhood Abuse (when appointed).

You can contact the Interim Advocate by post, email or telephone.

In addition, arrangements have been put in place to enable applicants to seek independent emotional support, separate from the Interim Advocate’s Office, from the Victims and Survivors Service directly.  You can access this service from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, by phoning 07980 950765 or emailing
