This Annual Report was submitted to the Executive Office pursuant to paragraph 11(1) of Schedule 1 of the Historical Institutional Abuse (Northern Ireland) Act 2019. This provision requires the Historical Institutional Abuse Redress Board to report, as soon as practicable after the end of each financial year and send to the Executive Office a report on the exercise of the Redress Board’s function during that year.
The Executive Office laid the Annual Report before the Northern Ireland Assembly on 3 March 2023.
